Hi, I have a Smart4two 451 that had a main bearing fail. we had the crank sent to an engineering co to check and they decided
to grind it down 1 undersize. We have since found out that there are NO oversize bearings for this motor, not even from MB Germany. So I'm keen to do a EV conversion as my wife only uses it to go to work mostly, a round trip of 28km a day.
Any advice on how to proceed would be helpful.
